Happy Earth Day 2015

Gaylord Nelson, Wisconsin native & founding father of Earth Day, liked to joke before public speeches:  "As Henry the Eighth said to Anne Boleyn, 'I won't keep you long.'"

On this 45th anniversary of the first nationwide environmental teach-in, I'll make it sustainably brief.

"We're standing knee-deep in garbage, throwing rockets at the moon."
- troubadour & activist Pete Seeger

"The economy is a wholly owned subsidiary of the environment, not the other way around."
- Gaylord Nelson

Happy Earth Day to all sentient beings who share our weird & wonderful world!
